BA in International Relations
Tanja Haupt was a German exchange student visiting UT Austin in Fall 2024. As of 2025, she was pursuing a Master’s degree in political science at the University of Freiburg, Germany. Her main areas of interest include American politics and transatlantic relations, making the Texas German Dialect Project of central interest to her. Coming from the state of Baden-Wuerttemberg, she is fluent in German as well as the Badisch dialect spoken in southwestern Germany.
