John Henry Roenigk’s interest in acquiring German as a second language was spurred in 2009 during a gap year, at which point he took on various jobs working for a wine estate in the Mosel valley close to the historic city of Trier in the western part of Germany. After graduating, he was a US Teaching Assistant in Austria through Fulbright Austria, and worked for Accenture LLP.
