Active with the TGDP: Summer 2017
BA in Linguistics (California State University, Fullerton)
Daniel worked for the TGDP as an intern at the University of Indiana, Bloomington under the direction of Damir Cavar. He is most interested in historical linguistics, language contact, sociolinguistics, and phonology, particularly in regards to the Germanic languages, such as German and Norwegian. What initially attracted him to German was the history of the language, and what continues to intrigue him are the various distinct facets of different dialects both within German and within other languages. In his free time, Daniel enjoys reading, writing, drumming, and furthering his understanding of the cultures of the world. Since 2019, Daniel has been working for QuickBridge, most recently as a senior credit analyst.
