When “Jin” was a graduate student, her areas of interest included contrastive linguistics, syntax, semantics, stylistics, linguistic analysis of literature, narrative, and discourse analysis. A native of South Korea, Jin became interested in documenting endangered languages, as she watched the documentary film “The Linguists.” She is now working as a natural language processing linguist, contributing to projects requested by a tech company.
