Collin’s main areas of research include phonology, morphology, language contact situations and the historical development of Germanic languages. In addition, he is interested in the documentation and revitalization of threatened languages. Collin is also excited to be able to document Kinamigin, an endangered language of the Philippines.
Since graduating from UT Austin, Collin has been a Visiting Professor at Pacific Lutheran University, a Visiting Professor at Oklahoma State University, a Visiting Professor at Old Dominion University, and a Lecturer at Washburn University.
